• Ames Straw Poll is going on today. A crucial must pass first step on the road to the GOP Presidential Candidate nomination. This  non binding straw poll can make or break a presidential candidate hopeful. Do well in this poll and your campaign continues, do poorly and your campain will most likely collapse.  No pressure, right? • Good read on the fall of Communism as told by someone who lead the fight within the former USSR  - Financial analyst, Yuri Yarim-Agaev, was once a Russian physicist and Soviet dissident who joined the Moscow Helsinki Group in the 1970s. Consider this, not all were trying to buck the system and were quite content to exchange self determination for entitlements. Where did these individuals migrate when the State no longer provided for all their needs?
