Supermoon Tonight!
On March 19th, a full Moon of rare size and beauty will rise in the east at sunset. It’s a super “perigee moon”–the biggest in almost 20 years.
“The last full Moon so big and close to Earth occurred in March of 1993,” says Geoff Chester of the US Naval Observatory in Washington DC. “I’d say it’s worth a look.”
Hazy clouds obscuring the moon tonight. Wish I had access to a RCX400 with a CCD camera. Ahh, the photos I could take…
Okay, now I am officially jealous

Too bad around here the weather is supposed to be cloudy with a 40% chance of rain. I think Oklahoma’s Spring Thunderstorm Season is beginning.
I have a question, Skye. Can you recomend a type of photo-manipulation software? I’m not looking for something to remove red-eye or a few of my (increasing) wrinkles. I’m looking for something with which I can, for example, make a picture of me riding my motorcycle on the moon, or shaking hands with Abraham Lincoln, or something.
Thank you for your help.
