The CPAC 2011 Experience – In The Beginning
The Bank of Kev bloggers are arriving in DC in advance of the 2011 CPAC convention.
Arrived by 9 am to the B&B, my room was ready for occupancy. After introducing myself to the friendly guests in the breakfast nook, I sat down to savor a delicious cup of hazelnut flavored coffee. A few hours later, Little Miss Atilla arrived; we shared a tasty lunch and good conversation. Later in the day, I briefly chatted with Doug Welch and witnessed the Andrew Ian Dodge trip over an internet cable in the cozy Bed and Breakfast many Bank of Kev bloggers are calling home during this conference.
The conference is starting off with a bang – Embattled ACU director, David Keene announced this afternoon his intention to resign from his position with Al Cardenas elected as his replacement. Wow, I’m thinking this is a good thing for the ACU at this time. Welcome, Al Cardenas!
David Keene addressed conference attendees on his decision to retire as head honcho of ACU. He introduced his replacement, Al Cardenas and expressed confidence in his successor.
