America’s Chickens Are Coming Home To Roost
John Ruberry shared with me a blog post which highlights a salient point on the defamation of the Tea Party by the Main (Lame) Stream Media and Democrat congressmen this past week – heck - this past year.
For the record, tea partiers don’t wear masks, don’t chant obscenities, and when the police tell them to do something–they do it. They’re quite different from the chlamydia-cluster I wrote about in two years ago.
Yes, there is a police presence at tea parties–but they concentrate on traffic control.
John and I were part of a contingent of credentialed bloggers covering – at our own expense – the 2008 RNC Convention and counter demonstrations in St. Paul. It wasn’t unusual to see protesters wearing Che t shirts and bandannas obscuring their face. Real sons of liberty ready to accommodate the wishes of the MSP police gathered at the 12 Street Bridge in St.Paul:
Of course I have video of the angry mob in action:
Doesn’t look like any TeaParty I’ve attended, perhaps it is closer in tone to recent CoffeeParty events. Note the chant ‘resist, resist with your fucking fist’ intermixed with the 60′s standard ‘The Whole World is Watching”. This was back in 2008, when Obama was encouraging his supporters to “argue with your neighbors and get in their faces” and bonding with Philly natives by observing how he would bring a gun to a knife fight – because folks in Philly like a good brawl. In 2008 and 2009, promoting violence was an effective political tool of the Democrat party, now the chickens have come home to roost.
March 2010, a wildly unpopular health care reform bill is passed despite vigorous bipartisan disapproval of the bill. Democrats now shirk from the ‘bring a gun to a knife fight’ bravado of the past two years and cry victim. Interestingly, every instance they’ve brought up as proof of right wing extremism and racism as motivators for unrest over the passage of this disastrous bill has been shown to be blatantly false.
This wasn’t a tactic reserved for national Democrat efforts. Locally, I’ve witnessed first hand how the same violent language has lead an individual, John Meicht, to attack a female blogger who had diverging political views. John is a member of the Chester County Peace Movement who stated he was angry when he struck the videographer – twice. The director of the group, Karen Porter, feeds her followers a steady diet of racism and hate mongering of anyone who stands to the right of her. The following video is one piece of evidence of the hate spurred by Karen’s words.
In fact there is more evidence to support this tactic has backfired on them on a national and local level. America’s chickens are coming home to roost. Donald Douglas of American Power crafted a detailed list of violence committed by the tolerant left over the past two decades.
