Obamacare 2.0 – Stick A Fork In It
Rep. Paul Ryan remarks at the bipartisan health care summit held yesterday in Washington DC:
And I’ve got to tell you, the American people are engaged. And if you think they want a government takeover of health care, I would respectfully submit you’re not listening to them. So what we simply want to do is start over, work on a clean- sheeted paper, move through these issues, step by step, and fix them, and bring down health care costs and not raise them.
Everywhere you turn today the news is the same – Obama failed to close the deal on health care reform.
This is why Scott Brown was elected to fill the vacant Massachusetts Senate seat. The public is engaged in the health care issue and have clearly rejected Obamacare via their votes and their voices. Obama, can you hear us now?
PS: Who cares about his vote in support of a useless jobs bill? He is, after all, a Republican from Massachusetts.
