So now, for the better part of a week, headlines race across the globe proclaiming that those who oppose health care are racist and few bother to look at the facts, or to realize that what is really going on here is the most massive conspiracy to bury the bad news of the government takeover of health care so far down in the news that most people will never hear of it.

And the Dems don’t even mind if stories come out about a Muslim supporter of Obama threatening to kill a Jewish congressman and his wife. Anything to keep you from talking about health care, or unemployment or the bad economy.

Jimmie over at Sundries Shack noticed that ‘social justice’ means everyone gets poorer. He has a few questions for Progressive Democrats who support the idea of social justice:

Here are a couple questions to ponder. Why don’t progressives ever suggest a policy whereby everyone’s earnings increase? Why should the gap between the rich and everyone else actually matter, if everyone else is getting ahead?

And here’s the big one, to my thinking. How can a poor person ever expect to become rich with progressives holding them back?

Of course, the Visitors (hence the title), after promising things like universal health care and peace in a one world government, turn out to be totally evil. They attempt to seize control of the media, favoring those who don’t challenge them or ask probing questions about their real agenda, which turns out to be the annihilation of humanity. The heroes are everyday people, who form a grass roots resistance movement. Supposedly, the show is being slightly re-conceptualized to soften or remove events some might interpret as negative parallels to today.

Epic Fail of the Year: West Chester Democrat committee people in collusion with a spokesperson for the WCASB Democrat candidates were caught concocting a backdoor smear campaign against the Republican WCASB candidates. In the following email exchange, a committee person goes so far as to volunteer to circumvent campaign finance rules in order to make this happen. At today’s meeting it was more or less agree upon to start the negative stuff in about 4½-5 weeks with a targeted mailing, certain WC wards & other specific precincts.

In reference to your lit drop Brian & for the benefit of the rest on this eMail Cc: Mark Pimley is the committee person in EB S-1 living at (address removed for privacy) off of Sconneltown (see the google map below).

I’ve gotten some negative feedback about doing a lit drop for defaming him (& his wife) for hosting this fundraiser for the “R’s” school board campaign.

It’s the candidates we need to attack, so depending on what our negative-type letter claims, to me, that would make a case about whether it should be done.

Now I’m not personally opposed to doing a mailing that would go out as quickly as we could get one together. I would afford a fair share of the cost if that’s decided that that’s what should be done. Are we certain about a date of when the fundraiser is?

Below is the actual location of the Pimley home, so limiting a mailing/lit drop to the adjacent neighbors would have to be determined. 100, 200, 500, Dems, soft “R’s”, Ind.???

GOP Solutions for Health care – Despite Obama’s claim to the contrary, the GOP has put forth a series of commonsense health care reforms that the nation can afford. Speaking of healthcare, check out the Heritage Foundation’s website A Dose of Reality – Fact Checking the White House according the site “The White House now has a taxpayer-funded Web site to “reality check” credible criticisms and arguments. Problem is the videos “debunking” each “myth” are low on facts.” The Heritage foundation has responded by creating fact filled videos addressing the issues raised by the White House. It is worth your time to view these videos to gain a better perspective of the health care issues.

Instapundit is getting nervous when Diversity Czars spout stuff like this:

President Obama’s diversity czar at the Federal Communications Commission has spoken publicly of getting white media executives to “step down” in favor of minorities, prescribed policies to make liberal talk radio more successful, and described Hugo Chavez’s rise to power in Venezuela “an incredible revolution.”

I’m thinking soon we will see another Czar in an unemployment line.

Philly Note: Tonight I had the pleasure of meeting Al Schmidt - Republican candidate for City Controller in the city of Brotherly Love.  His speech highlighted a jarring truth – Philadelphia has the highest tax burden of any U.S. city and we have the highest total city debt of any U.S. city. We tax the most and borrow more than any other city, yet cannot provide core municipal services like police and fire.  Something is wrong with this system, Al is the candidate who is not afraid to take on the system to fix this problem. This is change I can support.
