Back To Good – Breakfast With Santa

Dinner is Served

Spent Sunday with the niece and nephew at Longwood Gardens Breakfast with Santa program. Ava was so star struck when meeting Santa she forgot her carefully curated list of Christmas gifts, making my little diva quite contrary until I promised to help her write a letter to Santa.

No Coal For Me!

Her brother, Danny wasn’t as impressed by Santa. It was a good thing he had his iPod Touch to occupy him while waiting for Ava to meet Santa.  After the Santa meet and greet, it was off to explore Longwood Garden. The kids had a great time exploring the conservatory and marveling at the flowers and humongous Christmas Trees. It was so nice to see Ava and Danny help each other locate items from a seek and find game in the children’s garden. Ava was not shy about sharing how much she loved the garden.

The conservatory is always lovely and Christmas brings out an extra measure of sparkle and shine.

And lots of cuteness overload – Ava and Danny posing for photos at the big Green Wall.

Christmas at Longwood Gardens is not to be missed! If you are in the area, it is well worth the trip to view the decorations and lights.

Cute! And the Gardens look beautiful.

Did you really have breakfast with Santa? How was it? Did he eat a lot? He looks like he could eat a lot.

Breakfast was bountiful, the kids loved it. Santa made a point to visit at each table and chat with the kids. Not sure why he asked if I like anthracite, but the kiddo’s enjoyed chatting The Big Guy.

Nah, I’m sure you misheard. Santa asked if you like “antheiaphyte” which is an almost legitimate word meaning “growing flowers”.

No lumps of coal for you. :)

Glad you had a good time. What are their ages? Ava appears to be 3 or 4 and Danny appears to be 6 or 7.
I’m sure you know the great thing about being an Aunt; you can give them back after having fun with them.

Have Your Say
