Nashville Scenes
Nashville – a city I want to revisit just to take more pictures. Well, I could skip the whole fake Parthenon thing, but the rest of the city is golden! I wish I’d seen more that what passed by my window on a bus tour of the city.
However, I did get some interesting shots and met some famous people in my all too brief visit to Nashville. Below the cut are some of my favorite photos from the trip. Enjoy the pretty!
Tourist action #1 – Must say howdee to Minnie and Roy:
Definitely want to come back to Nashville and pick up a few records at Earnest Tubb Record Shop:
Go where it all started:
Say hello to Patsy! What an amazing voice, she brought style and glamour to Country Music. I kept catching snippets of her songs all during my stay in Nashville.
Belt out a few Elvis songs on his gold piano. You think this is blingy…you should see his car!
Found this quiet nook at the Ryman Auditorium. I really want to attend a performance at the Ryman; it is soaking with atmosphere and I imagine the sound must be divine.
Take in some wisdom of The Diamond Street:
Till next time, Nashville….

Great photos! DId they have a tour of the Gibson guitar factory, which I think is in Nashville? Not too far away, in Winchester, VA, they opened up Patsy Cline’s home where she lived as a teen and for a time when she was married.
It was too short a visit (aren’t they all?) and I didn’t get the opportunity to visit the Gibson factory
