A Day in The Life of a Blissdom 2012 Attendee
To give those seriously considering attending a future Blissdom conference (which you should) I put together a series of photos highlighting a typical day and night of a BlissDom conference attendee.
You day starts with an invigorating workout. Blissdom invited fitness experts Suzanne Bowen and Amy Cotta to lead morning fitness sessions, which I find is the best way get energized and focused for the busy day ahead. Here I am rocking a Goals Fitness long sleeve t-shirt prior to our workout.

After an invigorating workout, it is time to fuel up with a healthy and nutritious breakfast provided by the National Milk Mustache ‘got milk?’ campaign.
Breakouts sessions where nuggets of knowledge on writing, photography, business and life are shared

During a break between lectures, a quick visit to the Picha Global photo suite brings out your photographic creativity and a big smile.
During the boxed lunch break, a visit to the California Raisin Country Kitchen sponsor suite for fresh baked raisin cookies – delicious!
Finding new friends at niche tables set up in the breakout session. I found this a great way to expand the opportunity to meet bloggers writing in different areas or niches than yourself. I thought is was a great way to broaden your blogging connections.
A quick dash back to my room to change into my party dress for the evening events.
The evening starts with a fun get together at the Lorax Party for food, music, and…

Delicious, fruity themed drinks – Viva the Lorax Libation! (as I called it)
The evening entertainment provided by Joe Jonas…
and the Opryland sensation- Rascal Flatts
Nothing caps off a great night then a cup of Bourbon-Maple gelato! Seriously, I could not get enough of this stuff.
I hope this quick review gives you a taste (pardon the pun) of what it is like to attend a Blissdom conference. It is packed with information and fun activities that keep you going day and night – note there were three complete wardrobe changes. I’m trying to remember which flavor of Gelato I liked best. I think it was Dulce de Leche. I know it wasn’t the Mexican Chocolate. SPICY Love the Picha pic of you! Caught your glorious smile in all it’s glory!
Beth, that was right before I bounced off the trampoline – you should see those pics
Didn’t you mention the salted caramel gelato??
Dang! Looked like a good time (productive, too), but I was not jealous until you mentioned the Bourbon-Maple gelato. That’s worth the price of admission right there.
