It’s hard to find a Philly Cheesesteak here. But, I just might need to eat the nearest equivalent I can find, for him.
I don’t eat this type of meat so I’ll just order fries wit wiz when my cast is removed.
Sir, thank you for clearly stating what most of us think. God bless and I hope to meet you when I “graduate” from earth.
Joey Vento was an icon in Philly and will be sorely missed by many.
Had tears in my eyes as I ordered my “Provelone Witout” at the window yesterday. I knew it wasn’t going to be the same experience knowing he was gone. He was the Best!
Yeah, it isn’t going to be the same…
Joey had the guts to ” walk the walk” !!! He told the TRUTH at times when many other people were afraid to !!!!! He will be sorley y of missed by friends, realtives, and people in the ENTIRE TEA PARTY MOVEMENT !!! He gave many people the incentive to fight for what they believe in !! He loved this country which gave him the opportunity to succeed in the business world !! Lastly, he knew right from wrong !!! A true American Patriot !!!! God Bless him and his family !!!!
Dear Tania,
Thank you for helping to spread the word regarding Joey’s funeral arrangements.
We imagine, despite Hurricane Irene, that there will be throngs of patriots determined to pay their respects to this humble conservative hero.
God bless Joey. May he rest in peace.
And God bless you for all you do.
Your eternally grateful friend,

Joey was our local folk hero, a true living legend. He showed us how to fight for what we believe in, even when we are being attacked, mocked, or sued.
He was generous, donating hundreds of thousands of dollars to police officers and their families.
He spoke from the heart and used basic common sense to spotlight problems and how to fix them.
He was not a very tall man, about 5′ 6″, but he was a giant. He was the voice of the common man and he did it all with class and dignity.
He’s enjoying his reward in heaven with the Lord. We will always remember Joey Vento.
Great post.
When I heard that Joey died, I was saddened. When I get uo in the morning & turn my radio to 99am for Bill Bennett’s radio show, it was Joey I heard first, talking about his cancer, Obamacare, illegal immigration. That day I heard he died but didn’t hear his voice with his commercials. I miss his voice / his words, Mr. Vento – a great American!!
Bless you Joey for saying what we all were thinking. You were a Philadelphia treasure and I will miss seeing you and listening to your thoughts. You could see through the smoke they blow. Farewell My Friend.
