Downingtown’s DUI Democrat Mayor – Josh Maxwell
The Daily Local News reports on the arrest by state police of Downingtown’s democrat mayor, Josh Maxwell, charging him with driving under the influence (DUI) with a a blood-alcohol content of 0.10 to 0.16 percent. The Democrat mayor was also charged with careless driving. As the Democrat mayor of Downingtown, Josh Maxwell, expressed his embarrassment over his actions.
Good thing the democrat mayor of Downingtown Josh Maxwell’s embarrassing actions didn’t cause the death of an innocent victim. I thank the vigilance of the Pennsylvania State Trooper for stopping the democrat mayor of Downingtown before a tragedy occurred.
It is my hope that the Democrat mayor of Downingtown will face full responsibility in a court of law and not have the process influenced by his standing or that of his family’s standing in the Downingtown community.
At this moment I believe it is appropriate to remember Pennsylvania victims of drunk drivers.
I am upset about our Mayor’s DUI, and feel he should be asked to resign. His reported “good works” pale to the danger he put other citizens of Chester County in…although, people simply don’t take this seriously…he made a “mistake”. Is that unreasonable? Are you seeing a trend toward…excusing DUIs with it was a “mistake” , he will learn…yes, but not as my elected officical.
