Astroturfing By Ellie Light
A rather mysterious person submitted the exact same letter to the editor (LTE) for publication in dozens of newspapers across the nation. Locally, the Northeast Times and Philly Daily News printed this LTE. I know from experience that one must a identify a neighborhood when submitting an LTE to the Northeast Times. Was it an innocent oversight or an intentional act on the part of the editors? It’s not quite spring, yet one can smell the astroturf!
Recall it was Pelosi, who accused conservatives of being ‘astroturfers’ financed by the ‘high end’:
Ironically, the evidence of true astroturfing stongly points to Democrat involvement. Hmmm, I wonder how much Organizing for America paid ‘Ellie Light’ for his/her astroturfing? This past summer, HCANN paid for sign holders at healthcare rallies; Craigs List hosted advertisements for Summer of Change - a health care reform advocacy group; During the Massachusetts special election, a union worker admitted being paid 50 bucks to hold a Martha Coakley sign.
Sundries Shack has a detailed description of astroturfing – dem style. Anyone else considering the idea that ‘Ellie Light’ is really David Axelrod?

It’s a Chicago thing…Axelrod’s PR firm used astroturfing extensively.
I hope that the culprits behind this are unveiled!
Alot of bloggers are not very pleased with the new iPad.There was just too much hoopla regarding it and alot people got disapointed. You see, I for one see lots of the cool potential uses of the gizmo. Third-party applications for doing tunes, games, newspapers and magazine and books, all sorts of good stuff, but they just didn’t really sell it properly (excluding the books). It feels rather undercooked
