She did not demand that books be banned from the Wasilla library. Some of the books on a widely circulated list were not even in print at the time. The librarian has said Palin asked a “What if?” question, but the librarian continued in her job through most of Palin’s first term.She was never a member of the Alaskan Independence Party, a group that wants Alaskans to vote on whether they wish to secede from the United States. She’s been registered as a Republican since May 1982.
Palin never endorsed or supported Pat Buchanan for president. She once wore a Buchanan button as a “courtesy” when he visited Wasilla, but shortly afterward she was appointed to co-chair of the campaign of Steve Forbes in the state.
Palin has not pushed for teaching creationism in Alaska’s schools. She has said that students should be allowed to “debate both sides” of the evolution question, but she also said creationism “doesn’t have to be part of the curriculum.”

I agree, we conservative women, are not to be underestimated! How dare the left lay claim to having the only strong capable women. How dare they accuse conservatives of being hypocrites, when a woman decides to be more than a Mother. Where does it say that Republicans do not want their women to succeed in politics? Nowhere, of course! Just more lies from the left.
Which liberal idiot radio host called Condi Rice “Aunt Jemima” and when he apologized, he called her Jemima again?
They are the hypocrites, not us. Liberals have lost their collective minds, and it will be a painful couple of months watching them self destruct… but I am willing to bear witness to it, for the good of my country!!!

Sarah Palin’s has, and will, do many great things for our party, the best of which is to lay bare the inherent hypocrisy of the left with all their empty slogans. I am still waiting for NOW to come out in at least acknowledging Sarah’s accomplishment. Sadly it will only happen when 1) hell freezes over or 2 ) Sarah puts a (D) by her name and aborts her next pregnancy. I can’t say I blame Todd but jeeze, leave the poor woman alone for a bit will ya?

My father was a life-long Democrat, running and winning several local elections. A great deal of what I know about politics, I learned from him.
Today, however, I believe he would be ashamed of what’s become of his party.
You remind me a great deal of him. I think that’s the highest compliment I can pay anyone. I’m glad to discover there are still people left with his ideals.

I am a conservative woman who was never a feminist. I never needed an organization to do anything for me, because I am also a strong woman. I cannot be intimidated by anyone, as the moonbat woman beater found out. I never needed a woman in the White House and in fact feared it. My fear, I realize is the role models of women that have been presented to us. Stretch Pelosi, Shrill Hill, Madeline Halfbright, etc. Also included in this is the liberal moonbat women I had to work for while I was a Probation/Parole Officer. I had no reason to respect women in power, trust me. I would vehemently deny that these women speak for me. NO, NO, NO, they don’t speak for me.
When I met Sarah, even through a T.V., I was WOWED!!!! SHE CAN SPEAK FOR ME ANYTIME, ANYWHERE….as she will say what I would say. It used to rub me like nails on a chalk board when they would say that Shrill Hill speaks for all women. NO NO NO.
NOW step up to the plate? I am still waiting for them to defend Muslim slave women. They are visibly absent whenever a real woman needs their support. They only support killing babies.
