But…but…but…they said that NO ONE DOES THIS!!!!
Morons.
Well, I think we can close the book on the “Has an Iraq Vet ever been spit on” debate.
Very good, LT. Nixon, they, of course, will deny it forty years from now, but thanks to modern technology, it is forever. This veteran was not offensive, or aggressive, in fact, he was very polite, yet, that is how he is treated for asking some very good questions.
I would have liked him to go into it a bit more, though, by asking these moonbats to elaborate on what they were saying. As for that foreign guy…if we are a criminal country, why is he here? Why didn’t the videographer offer to pay his passage for him back to whatever Godawful place he is from, and I would have reimbursed him.
As a veteran myself, I have to say that I am appalled at the way some of these protesters have interpreted the facts they have been given. I can’t say that I agree with their statements. But I did serve in the Army to defend their right to make those statements. Apparently, they feel that defending someone else’s rights makes me a fascist. I can’t quite figure that one out.
I also get annoyed when I hear people citing the US death toll in Iraq, and comparing it to Vietnam. The number of deaths over the last 5-6 years is small, when compared to the deaths in Vietnam.
I saw a great bumper sticker that sums up how I feel:
“If you don’t stand behind our troops, feel free to stand in front of them.”
I guess that person is the definition of “spitting mad”.
A hive of scum and villainy, that place must be. It’s such a shame that such a beautiful place (California) has to be populated by some of the ugliest people in this country. I honestly feel sorry for those who live there who have to put up with people like those shown in this video.
On another note, how do a lot of these people manage to make a living? A lot of them appear very anti-social.
Stunning. The absolute lack of intelligent answers, from people who somehow feel it is their job to tell the administration and the rest of us how we should behave. They obviously have no real understanding of the war or terrorist threats or for that matter, anything at all, yet want to impose their stupid way of thinking on us. Disgraceful and pitiful people. If I lived in California, I’d be praying for the fault/s to give way! As a matter of fact, I am praying for them to give way, and I don’t live there!
Santa Barabara isn’t America…
Last time I checked Santa Barbara was a part of this great nation. I see the same characters, and hear the same lame statements every weekend in West Chester. Santa Barbara is just indicative of the norm of liberalism.
::::shiver::::
Wow, I’m getting flashbacks from the ANSWER freak show held last Sept in DC!
And liberals still consider themselves as the epitome of tolerance?
Don’t you dare question their patriotism, Carl!
Remember, dissent IS patriotic….
I lived in the SB from 2001 to 2004 and they had this same protest every Saturday. Most of the time there were the same 30 people walking down the street; usually the kind that you wouldn’t want to be stuck sitting next to on a long plane ride.
Caroline,
It is the same in West Chester, the same tired retiree’s show up every Saturday in WC.
Too bad they always seem to catch the eye of the media.
